Use of this kit if the camera and lens together weigh between 2.6-pounds and the mount’s max payload capacity of 6.6-pounds, or if the lens is long. The kit includes the mounting plate and hardware, plus a counterweight shaft and a 3-pound (1.35kg) weight. While built for the Pro version, this counterweight kit will also fit the original SkyTracker mount.
