Boom Stand FT-501 Overview:
the Aluminum Mid-Range Boom Arm from Impact is your solution.
The three-section boom collapses down to just 26″, extends to 60″, and weighs only 2.95 lb.
It has a counterweight hook for the included empty 5 lb capacity sandbag that you can fill with the weighted material of your choice, allowing it to support a light or other gear weighing up to 5 lb at full extension.
The included 5/8″ spigot is conveniently removable and has both 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 male threads, for multiple mounting options.
The 5/8″ industry standard receiver makes the boom compatible with a wide variety of light stands, while the heavy-duty pivot with ratcheting handle makes for easy tilting adjustments
Constructed from aluminum, the boom weighs just 2.95 lb and folds down to only 26″, for easy packing and use on the road.
