Ruggard EDC Overview:
Protect cameras, lenses, photographic and optical equipment, mobile electronics, and other valuables from excessive moisture, dirt, and dust with the Ruggard EDC-30L Electronic Dry Cabinet. The cabinet’s fast-acting TE Cooling Wafer regulates the interior’s relative humidity from 60 to 35% to help prevent fungus and corrosion that can damage delicate gear and other sensitive materials. Humidity adjustments take place over a 1- to 3-hour period.
The large, dimmable LCD displays ambient temperature (in Fahrenheit or Celsius), relative humidity, and other settings, and the glass door is gasket sealed. Interior LED lights make viewing and finding gear easier. Both the base and the adjustable plastic shelf are padded to help guard against scratches, and the shelf’s padding is contoured to accommodate lenses.
The Electronic Dry Cabinet features nearly silent operation, without a fan or compressor to make noise. It is also dripless, eliminating the need for a messy water tray that requires draining. To prevent unwanted movement, the bottom of the cabinet has four rubber feet. The cabinet is powered by an included multi-voltage power supply.
