\nFeaturing a feather light 56\u201d boom and exclusive Clutch Rotation System, this
\nboom can be mounted on any standard microphone tripod or base stand.<\/p>\n

CAD Audio 1700VP Details<\/strong>
\nThe 1600VP \/ 1700VP \/ 1800VP is a continuously-variable pattern
\ncondenser microphone system with remote polar control (patent
\npending). The variable polar pattern with remote control allows the
\nuser to precisely adjust the shape of the pick-up pattern for best
\nperformance from a remote location. Utilizing a two-conductor shielded
\ncable (maximum length 2,000 feet) between the microphone head and
\nthe pattern-control box (VPC-1), the user can adjust the polar pattern
\nin real time without changing capsules, microphone positions, or
\ninducing noise in the audio chain.<\/p>\n

Special attention has been given to the frequency response and
\nsensitivity of the microphone system while utilizing the variable-pattern
\ncontrol to precisely alter the shape of the pick-up pattern. The large-
\ndiameter, low-noise elements produce a frequency response of 40Hz
\nto 20KHz with a selectable, recessed 80Hz, 12dB\/octave high-pass
\nfilter that removes unwanted low-frequency energy when engaged.
