The kit includes the modular KOMODO-X camera cage, a dovetail plate, a lens adapter support, a folding top handle, an advanced left-side wooden handle, a NATO rail adapter for the side handle, a 15mm LWS baseplate, a 15mm side single rod holder, two 8″ long 15mm rods, a V-mount battery plate, and an advanced I\/O module.<\/p>\n

The cage and top handle provide numerous accessory mounting options, and the V-mount plate and I\/O module add power, timecode, genlock, and control options to the KOMODO-X. The adjustable advanced wooden handle mounts onto the side of the cage and provides a quick NATO rail mount for the handle to easily adjust, mount, or remove. Tilta’s 8″ Threaded 15mm Rod<\/b>\u00a0is a 8″ rod with female threading on both ends. This allows you to use optional threaded rod adapters to extend the length. As a standard practice, Tilta chamfers one end of their rods and leaves the other end with a straight cut. The chamfering makes it easier to slide accessories onto the rod, while the end with the straight cut makes for a smoother rod join.<\/p>\n

The rod is made from machined aluminum for a balance between weight and strength, and then anodized black for wear and corrosion resistance. Please note that there is no industry-wide standard for support rod threading, so when sourcing optional rod extenders, it is best to stay within one brand.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
