The\u00a0Raya Octa Fluorescent 7-Socket Fixture 2-Light Softbox Kit<\/b>\u00a0was put together by\u00a0B&H<\/b>\u00a0to provide a soft, multi-use, continuous lighting setup with enough power and coverage for single subjects as well as large groups and sets. The kit is comprised of two 7-socket fixtures with 26W spiral fluorescent lamps, two 32″ Octa softboxes and an air-cushioned 9.5″ light stand for each light.<\/p>\n

The two Octa 7-socket units have dual rocker switches on their back panels, each of which control on\/off function for 3 or 4 lamps allowing the creation of a light ratio. The Octas have multi-voltage power supplies for worldwide use (with optional adapter plug) and a standard 5\/8″ receiver for light stands and accessories.<\/p>\n

The included 32″ softboxes feature highly reflective, pebbled interiors and removable front faces that attach with simple touch-fasteners. They also have detachable interior clip-on diffusers for softer light if desired. In use, the Octas render the signature wrap-around look that the modifiers’ shape is well known for, as well as natural circular catch-lights in your subject’s eyes. The light sources are supported by the included air-cushioned stands that gently lower the lights, preventing damage to the fixture when adjusting their height.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    The\u00a0OC-OF7<\/strong>\u00a0Octa Fluorescent 7 Socket Fixture<\/b>\u00a0from\u00a0Raya<\/b>\u00a0is a 7 Edison socket base that accepts up to seven 50W CFL fluorescents with a combined wattage of 350W. Individual socket rating is 105 watts.<\/p>\n

    The OC-OF7’s back panel has dual rocker switches, each of which control on\/off function for 3 or 4 lamps allowing the creation of a light ratio. The Octa OC-OF7 has a multi-voltage power supply for worldwide use (with optional adapter plug) and has a standard 5\/8″ receiver for light stands and accessories.     This\u00a0Impact Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Light Stand<\/b>\u00a0is a black anodized aluminum support that rises to a height of 9.5′ and folds down to 42″ for storage and transport. The stand will handle up to 22 lb and is topped with a removable 5\/8″ spigot with 1\/4″-20 and 3\/8″-16 threads. It has a wide footprint of 52″ for greater stability. Air cushioning gently lowers the light when making height adjustments to protect equipment and fingers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
