The ECM-VG1 features a supercardioid polar pattern for excellent directivity and minimal noise at the off-axis sections of the capsule, resulting in intelligible voice pickup even in noisy environments. The microphone’s wide, flat frequency response yields natural, accurate signal reproduction with crisp detail and minimal coloration.<\/p>\n

The ECM-VG1 runs on 40 to 52 VDC phantom power, making it compatible with a variety of professional camcorders, multitrack field recorders, and portable audio recorders.
