Add protection and a variety of accessories to your Nikon Z7 II, Z7, Z6, Z6 II, or Z5 with this\u00a0Full Cage and Side Handle Kit\u00a0from\u00a0SmallRig. The kit includes a full, formfitting camera cage, a wooden side handle with a NATO clamp, and an HDMI\/USB Type-C cable clamp.<\/p>\n

The cage is designed to fit the camera without blocking access to any ports or slots, and it features numerous mounting threads, a NATO rail, and a shoe mount. The side handle mounts onto either side of the cage using its NATO clamp, and it provides additional mounting threads and a shoe mount. The cable clamp attaches to the cage to prevent your HDMI and USB cables from pulling or disconnecting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The camera mounts on the cage via a 1\/4″-20 screw, and the mounting surface features anti-slip pads which, in addition to an M2.5 screw on the side, hold your camera securely in the cage and prevent it from twisting.<\/p>\n

An integrated shoe mount and a side NATO rail provide convenient attachment points for articulating arms, external monitors, and other accessories. The cage incorporates multiple 1\/4″-20 and 3\/8″-16 ARRI-style accessory threads for additional mounting options. Designed to prevent the camera’s HDMI and USB Type-C cables from accidentally disconnecting, this clamp attaches to the side of the cage using two 1\/4″-20 captive screws. The cables are secured with easy-to-grasp knurled 1\/4″-20 screws. Each screw adjusts a sliding block that can be tightened to accommodate varying diameters. The aluminum portion of the handle features 1\/4″-20 and 3\/8″-16 mounting threads plus a shoe mount on top of the handle to add a light, microphone, monitor, mounting arm, or other accessory.<\/p>\n

The handle’s NATO clamp attaches to a NATO rail on a rig or cage and has a sliding mechanism that allows you to slide the handle up and down within a range of 1.6″ for your preferred position.
