This B&H Kitsolves the issue by providing two ew ENG G3 Wireless Microphone Systems.
The kit includes a pair of transmitters and receivers, two basic lavalier microphones, and a plug-on transmitter for using a handheld microphone. The kit adds a handheld microphone, a pouch for the plug-on transmitter, and a waterproof, dustproof road case that has been custom built by SKB for B&H to transport the entire system. A double shoe V bracket (10.5 cm Wide) provides additional spaced mounting points for lights, monitors, microphones, or other accessories.
Sennheiser ew 100 ENG G3 Wireless Microphone Combo System – A (516-558 MHz)
The Sennheiser ew 100 ENG G3 Wireless Microphone Combo System is the latest addition to Sennheiser’s Evolution family of wireless microphones. The UHF wireless microphone system features 1,680 tunable frequencies, 21 frequency banks and 12 frequency presets per bank. This package conveniently includes the EK 100 G3 camera mount receiver, SK 100 G3 bodypack transmitter with ME 2 lavalier and SKP 100 G3 plug-on transmitter in one package.
The EK 100 G3 receiver is made of a durable metal enclosure and features a full functional LED display. The receiver features a 1/8″ unbalanced TRS mini output for quick connection to camcorders. The receiver features 4 preset memory locations that can be reassigned to any of the 1,680 available frequencies, within the 42 MHz tuning range.
The SK 100 G3 bodypack transmitter features an identically designed enclosure as the receiver. It also features an LCD display and 12 preset memory locations that can be reassigned to any of the available 1,680 frequencies. The transmitter features an 1/8″ locking-mini input for compatible lavalier microphones.
The ME 2 omnidirectional lavalier microphone features a sensitivity and frequency response suitable for capturing in the most demanding environments.
The SKP 100 G3 plug-on transmitter allows any standard dynamic microphone with a 3-pin XLR connection, to be used wirelessly. The transmitter utilizes the same frequency band as the body-pack and is powered by 2x AA batteries or optional Sennheiser BA2015 accupack.

The Sennheiser ew 112-p G3 Wireless Portable Microphone System is intended for portable wireless operation, such as video and field recording applications. This system includes a camera-mountable receiver, bodypack transmitter, and ME 2 lavalier microphone. The SK 100 G3 bodypack transmitter and EK 100 G3 receiver synchronize channel and frequency at the touch of a button.
An optional rechargeable battery pack allows you to charge batteries while they remain inside. The receiver includes the CA 2 shoe-mount adapter, for easy installation onto a camera shoe. A backlit display allows for easy operation under dimly lit conditions and its user-friendly menu makes operation quick and easy.
The Senal ENG-18RL is a broadcast-quality omnidirectional dynamic microphone. The dynamic capsule picks up sound in a 360° pattern and does not require a battery or phantom power, making it a reliable choice for critical field applications. The microphone’s exceptionally low handling noise and resistance to wind noise and vocal plosives make it perfect for professional ENG applications like live reporting, interviews, and press conferences.
At multiple areas inside the microphone, natural rubber with special shock-absorbing properties is bonded to carbon steel rings to isolate the sealed inner shell from the outer shell. This system protects the microphone capsule from impacts and inclement weather, and dissipates kinetic energy, dramatically reducing handling noise and resonance due to rustling and knocking.
The microphone also incorporates multistage wind protection to minimize wind noise and vocal plosives. A mesh grille, acoustic foam, acoustic fabric, and another layer of acoustic foam work to diffuse excess sound pressure from wind and breath. A fixed rigid carbon-steel ring with a unique bullet-shaped design disperses breath to minimize vocal plosives.
The EQ curve is tailored for broadcast use, with a gradual low-frequency roll-off to keep out unwanted rumble, a pronounced midrange to ensure speech intelligibility, and a high-frequency roll-off to eliminate hiss and sibilance distortion. Whether broadcasting on television, AM/FM radio, or over the internet, the ENG-18RL is designed to ensure that dialogue cuts through the mix, and can be broadcast live without EQ adjustment.
The ENG-18RL features a durable aluminum-alloy shaft designed for EMI rejection and reduced internal resonance, with a matte black finish for a professional appearance and minimum light reflection. The mic is also long enough to accommodate a mic flag.

The foam-cut interior of the case can accommodate up to two Sennheiser EW100 or two Sony UWP wireless systems, one ENG handheld mic (Senal 18RL or Electro-Voice RE50/B), one Vello triple shoe V-Bracket CB-410, one pocket for lavalier mics or other small accessories, one plug-on transmitter and one 2.5″ x 2.5″ mic flag.
Furthermore, the military-standard iSeries case is constructed from a high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and is equipped with a gasket for a water and dust proof seal. The Vello V-Rig 4.1″ Triple Shoe Bracket mounts onto a camera’s accessory shoe in order to provide three additional accessory shoes for mounting lights, monitors, microphones, or other accessories. In addition to the shoe mount, a 1/4″-20 thread is also available for attaching the bracket to a tripod, rig, or other bracket featuring a 1/4″-20-threaded mount.
The bracket is constructed from rigid, yet lightweight single-piece aluminum alloy, and the mounting shoes are machined out of the same piece as the bracket, for additional strength. The accessory shoes also feature backstops for greater security when attaching accessories.
