Hybrid ND/PL Filters – iPhone Overview
Hybrid Filters combine the depth of field and controlled shutter speeds of ND filters with the vibrant colors and contrasts of PL filters, providing a cinematic look for landscape photography and outdoor filmmaking. They can be used with SANDMARC Telephoto, Anamorphic, and Wide Lenses using a Step-up Ring
For optimal results, choose the filter based on your shooting conditions:
- ND16/PL for overcast or winter days.
- ND32/PL for mild cloudy conditions in fall or spring.
- ND64/PL for bright, sunny days.
Ensure the filter is securely attached to your lens and consider using a Step-up Ring for compatibility with various lenses. Minor vignetting may occur with Anamorphic lenses, but it can be easily corrected in post-editing.
