Saramonic UMIC-M2 Gooseneck Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone

A problem-solving solution for the vlogger, YouTuber, and videographer audio kit, the Saramonic UMIC-M2 is a compact gooseneck microphone with a locking 3.5mm TRS connector specially designed to plug into wireless bodypack transmitters (excluding Sony) as well as DSLR/mirrorless cameras, recorders, or mixers with plug-in power. The inconspicuous mic can then be placed on a podium, a tabletop, a wedding altar, behind a plant, in front of a person speaking, or used as a handheld microphone to record clear-sounding videos, dialogs, man-on-the-street interviews, or social-media posts.

The UMIC-M2 features a 7.6′ flexible gooseneck made of lightweight and durable metal. The gooseneck can easily be positioned where you want it and it stays in that position. When mounted on a camera, the mic can be rotated in the 3.5mm mic input to capture up-close dialog from in-front of the camera or from behind it, and easily switch between them.

The omnidirectional pickup pattern captures sound equally well in every direction, providing natural-sounding audio even when the speaker’s head moves away from the mic or when the subject moves naturally. A foam windscreen is provided to protect against wind noise.
