Direct monitoring lets you hear yourself with no distracting latency; and there are separate volume controls for the speaker and headphone outputs. Sturdy, compact, and attractive with a classy black/copper finish, this USB interface can be either bus-powered by a computer-based home studio or powered via a separately available USB power adapter or USB mobile battery for on-the-go recording with your iPad or iPhone. To get you started right away, the UR12 comes with Cubase AI DAW for your computer and Cubasis LE for capturing audio to your iOS devices.
