he Impact Convertible Boom Arm/Light Stand can support a small or medium light head to a height of 13′. Raise the second section completely, click, and it is a boom stand. As a boom, it can hold a small light head to an extension of almost 3′ from the center of the stand.
It is a reflector holder by means of its two clips, which can support an Impact, Flexfill, or Photoflex light disc as large as 60″.
A hole at the end of the arm allows an optional counterweight to be hung, for greater stability.

At just 4.0 lb the LED500 Pro Bi-Color LED Light from Dracast is an ideal choice for location work, interviews and small sets where color accuracy, control and flicker-free output are of major importance. Variable color temperature from 3,200K-5,600K or anywhere in between means that you can quickly match the prevailing ambient or artificial light balance with a simple twist of a knob while others are still applying filters. Dimming is equally convenient via another knob that adjusts the light intensity from 100-0% with negligible color shift. The low electrical draw of just 30W means a timely return on your investment.
The durable anodized aluminum frame is supported by an oversized, U-shaped yoke with locking knobs on each side and a standard 5/8″ receiver. The LED500 can be used worldwide, powered by the included 100-240 VAC adapter in the studio, or by V-Mount batteries in the field. Four-way barndoors for contouring and control of the LED500’s 45-degree beam angle are available separately. For protection during transport and storage, a carry case is included.
Expanding on their line of panels, the LED500 Plus Series Bi-Color LED Light from Dracast adds a digital display for adjusting output as well as Cat5 DMX input and output for linking and comes with both Gold mount and V-mount battery plates. The light features 512 LEDs with a high CRI of >95 for excellent color accuracy. Also, this model features a variable color temperature from 3,200-5,600K for quickly matching either daylight or tungsten sources without needing to mess around with gels.
The Impact Backlight Stand Base is a sturdy, all-steel lighting accessory that is ideal for low-angle applications such as mounting lighting fixtures and other accessories close to the floor or at table level. A 5/8″ Baby receiver is built-in for mounting a light stand riser. With a footprint diameter of 20 inches, the rubber-tipped, tri-leg base provides stability and prevents slipping on a smooth surface. It sets up quickly, and the legs fold flat for easy moving and storage.
